How it works

This baby stats guessing game printable gives each guest a card for the baby's date of birth, time, weight, length, hair and eye color, plus two lines for fun. Cards are handed in at the shower and scored after the birth.

Print the cards

Guest card prints one card to a page, with eight lines and a name line. One sheet for six guests puts the date, time, weight and length guesses of a whole table side by side: pass it round. Press Print blank sheet on either.

Score it after the baby arrives

Collect the cards at the shower. When the news comes, copy the guesses onto Host's tally, one guest a row, on paper or on screen. The closest date wins, and the closest weight breaks a tie. That scoring is our own suggestion.

Tips
  • Ask for weight in pounds and ounces and length in inches, so every guess compares.
  • Seal the cards in one envelope and leave it with a grandparent, so no guess changes later.

Questions and answers

Is there a guess the baby due date game free printable?

Yes. The first line of every card is the date guess. For a date-only game, print One sheet for six guests and have each guest write a name and a date. The closest date to the birthday wins.

What stats do guests guess?

Date of birth, time of birth, weight in pounds and ounces, length in inches, hair color and eye color. The guest card adds two lines of our own: the baby's first word, and who the baby will look like.

How do you decide the winner?

Our suggestion: the closest date wins, and the closest weight breaks a tie. A host can instead give a point for the closest guess on each line. The game has no official rules, so say which way before the cards are handed in.

When do guests fill in the cards?

At the shower, before the baby is born. Each guest writes a name and the guesses, and the host keeps the cards. They are scored once the family shares the date, time, weight and length.

  • Birthday guess: month and day The line that decides the game on our suggested scoring.
  • Eye color guess One word is plenty.
  • Family likeness guess A line of our own: a parent, a grandparent, or "too soon to say".
  • First word, one day A line of our own, for fun: nobody can score it until the baby talks.
  • Hair color guess Or "none yet".
  • Length guess, inches In inches, to the nearest half or quarter if a guest likes.
  • Time of birth guess Hour and minute, with a.m. or p.m.

How this list was compiled

Written by the Game Night Generator editors on 2026-10-02. The game is a folk game with no governing body and no standard sheet, so the layouts, the sizes and the scoring are the editors' own, and the page says so. No brand name is on any list. The rows are the ones guests are asked to guess (date, time, weight, length, hair and eyes) and two lines of the editors' own. The scoring rule is the editors' suggestion. No average weight, length or due-date fact is stated, and the sheets have no line for a stake or a prize pool. Licence: own work
