How it works
This what's in the bag baby shower game printable gives each guest a numbered line for every bag, a name line and a points box. It opens on 10 bags. The Sheet list has 15 bags, one bag passed round and the host's answer lists.

Guess the baby items by touch
Put one baby item in each paper bag, number the bags and fold them shut. Guests feel each bag from the outside, write a guess beside its number and pass it on. With one big bag, guests reach in without looking and list all they can name.
Pick the items from the host's lists
The three Host's list sheets sort baby items by how hard they are to name by touch: easy, medium and hard. Print them, choose ten to fifteen items and write each bag's number beside its item. The filled-in lists are your answer key.
Tips
- Cloth bags hide a shape better than paper ones, and paper lets a guest hear a diaper crinkle.
- For a hard round, bag the parts on their own: a bottle nipple, or a collar ring without its bottle.
Questions and answers
How do you play what's in the bag at a baby shower?
The host hides one baby item in each numbered bag. Guests feel the bags without peeking and write what they think is inside beside each number. The host reads the answers, and the most right guesses wins.
Where are the baby shower games guess what's in the bag answers?
The answers are whatever the host put in the bags. The host's lists here give items to choose from, sorted easy, medium and hard, with a box beside each for its bag number. The filled-in list is the answer key.
What baby items are good for the bags?
Things with a shape a hand can read: a rattle, a board book, a plastic stacking cup. For a harder game, choose small things from the hard list, such as a formula scoop or a baby comb.
How many bags do you need?
The sheets hold 10 or 15 numbered bags, or 20 lines for one big bag passed round. Those sizes are our own: the game is a folk game with no official rules or sheet.
