How to run the game at a shower
Give every guest pen and paper and read each card aloud. On a fact card, Show answer gives the true answer and names its source. On a guess card it says who holds the answer, Mom, Dad or both, and how to score it. For two tables, +1 on the end card keeps score.

Mom or Dad? is the baby shower question game for mom and dad: both sit up front, you read "Who will change more diapers?" and they point on three. Guess the baby seals predictions such as "What will the baby's first word be?" The CDC milestone set reveals that most babies laugh by 6 months; the numbers set holds the 2024 birth counts.

Where do the baby facts come from?
All 54 were checked against CDC pages and the AAP site HealthyChildren.org, and each answer names its source. On the CDC checklists, most babies means 75% or more, so up to a quarter get there later. The cards state facts, not advice.
How do we play if only the mom-to-be is at the shower?
Pick All about the dad-to-be, press Copy the list and send it to him a few days ahead. Each copied line carries a scoring note he can ignore. Write down his answers, and at the shower Mom guesses along with the guests.
Does the game work for two moms, two dads or one parent?
Yes. Guess the baby and the three fact sets name nobody, so they fit any family. The guess sets say Mom and Dad on the card; read the parents' names in their place.
How many questions does a baby shower need?
Fifteen to twenty fills one sitting. A good mix is ten guess cards, five facts and a closing wish. The U.S. babies by the numbers, 2024 set holds nine cards, so follow it with another fact set.
