Left Right Games: Gift-Passing Stories to Read Aloud

Type your names, read it aloud, pass the gifts.

A left right game is a gift swap with a story for a rule book. Everyone sits in a circle holding a wrapped gift, one person reads aloud, and each time the reader says LEFT or RIGHT the whole room passes that way. Whatever you are holding at the last line is yours to open. Each page here is a set of stories written for one kind of party: Christmas stories in two directions, a version that adds ACROSS for a bigger room, a telling built on the 1823 night-before-Christmas poem, and stories for showers, birthdays and send-offs. Type your own names and your town first, and the story is about the people in the room. The list under each tool gives every story's reading time, its number of passes and where each gift ends up, so you know before you start that nobody gets their own gift back. Then press Print, or read it from your phone.
