  • One in four reach the playoffs In a tournament the American Cribbage Congress sanctions, one entrant in four qualifies, and any fraction is rounded up: 31 of 121.
  • Cards that disagree Settled from the two cards alone: the players are not asked. A spread written on only one card is taken for both.
  • Put the cards in order first This table does not sort. Stack the cards in tie-break order, then write the players in from first place down.

How this list was compiled: The layout of both sheets is our own and copies no printed card. Checked on 2026-10-13 against the American Cribbage Congress rule book at https://www.cribbage.org/NewSite/rules/rulebook_2025.pdf: game points recorded as 2 for a win and 3 for a skunk, a loss written 0, X, / or a dash, blue or black ink and the zero in front of a one-digit spread (rule 12.1); the skunk as a win by 31 or more and the game hole at 121 (definitions); a forfeited game as a win by 10 spread points (rules 11.4 and 11.5); cards that disagree settled without the players, and a spread written on one card accepted for both (rule 12.2); one entrant in four to the playoffs, fractions rounded up, with the example of 121 entrants and 31 qualifiers (rule 13.2); and the order qualifying cards are arranged in: game points, games won, net point spread, plus points, head-to-head result, one-game playoff (appendix A, step 20). Checked the same day against https://www.cribbage.org/NewSite/about/scoring.asp: each player plays the same number of games in the qualifying round, 2 game points for a regular win, 3 for a skunk and none for a loss, and Master Point tables for main tournaments of 12 to 22 games and consolations of 7 to 12. Checked the same day against https://www.cribbage.org/grassroots/default.asp: clubs hold 6-game or 9-game tournaments. The spread as 121 less the loser's score is our arithmetic on the game hole. The nine game lines, the 12 standings lines (24 at most, so the table prints on one page) and the Opp. seat box are our choice, not a rule.
