Pageant Score Sheet, Plus Judges Sheets for Five More Contests: how it works
This pageant score sheet for judges lists entrants down the side and five weighted criteria across the top. Type 1 to 10 in each box and the total, out of 100, fills in beside the name. Five more layouts cover a talent show, a costume contest, a debate, a parade float and a decorating contest. Every criterion is the editors' suggestion.
Score an entrant across the row
Pick a layout, press Add an entry until everyone has a row, and rename each entry. Work across, one box per criterion; half points are allowed. A heading marked × 3 counts three times. Each layout's weights add up to 10, so tens across the row make 100. The sheet marks whoever is ahead as the totals fill in.

Six layouts, one for each kind of contest
Pageant: interview, stage, formal wear counts the interview three times and the on-stage question, poise and formal wear twice each. The talent show layout puts technical skill at × 4 and showmanship at × 3. The costume layout rewards the idea first, then craftsmanship. The debate layout weighs content, rebuttal, delivery and structure, and takes a row per speaker or per team. Parade floats and decorating contests have a layout each, covered below.
Tips
- Each judge needs a copy: Print blank sheet puts twenty rows and the scoring key on one page.
- To put the entrants' names on the judges' copies, rename the entries first, then press Print this game.
- Decorating contest: four criteria suits doors, trees, desks or pumpkins. Creativity counts four times and the theme three.
Questions and answers
Are these official pageant or debate criteria?
No. Every layout is the editors' suggestion; no pageant system, debate league or parade committee issued or approved it. If your event has its own form, use that. Entry names can be changed here. The criteria and weights cannot, so check that a layout suits your contest before printing.
How do we combine several judges' sheets?
Collect the printed sheets, open Judges' panel: add and average and type each judge's total beside the entry. The sheet adds them and shows the average per judge, which stays fair when a judge missed an entry. It takes up to five judges. A total under 10 or over 100 is flagged.
How does the parade float layout weigh a float?
Parade float: theme, design, spirit counts theme and design three times each, workmanship and spirit twice each. Use the comments box for anything the numbers miss. Agree a tie rule beforehand: the higher score on the first criterion is a simple one.
