Notes

The top line is for a pen
Blanks for the group, the spending limit, the sign-up date and the exchange date print above the lines.
One person signs on each numbered line
The last number filled in is the head count, and the hat holds one name slip for each filled line.
Please no: allergies and other no-gos
What a gift should leave out: a food the signer cannot eat, a scent, a thing already owned. Empty means nothing to list.
Has drawn: initials go in after pulling a name
Each signer initials their own line once they hold a slip. An empty Has drawn box shows who has not pulled a name yet.
Nothing on the sheet says who drew whom
The sheet records only that a name was pulled, so it can hang on a wall while every match stays secret.

Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Clear sheet keeps a copy for Undo, so use a private window on a shared computer.

How it works

This Secret Santa sign up sheet prints on paper and collects no sign-ups online. It opens on 20 numbered lines with boxes for Name, Please no and Has drawn. The Sheet list holds 10 and 30 lines too.

Print it, post it, pass the hat

Pick a length in the Sheet list, then press Print blank sheet. On paper the top line has blanks for the group, the spending limit, the sign-up date and the exchange date. Each person signs one numbered line. When sign-up closes, copy each signed name onto a slip for the hat. This page draws no names and prints no slips or gift tags.

Three boxes on every line

Name is the signer. Please no holds allergies and anything else a gift should leave out. Has drawn takes that person's initials after they pull a slip, so the sheet shows who still has to draw and never who drew whom.

Tips
  • Typed in, the names make a free printable Secret Santa list for the organizer's own records.
  • For a printable Secret Santa form about likes and sizes, hand out the Secret Santa questionnaire with the sheet.

Questions and answers

Is there a white elephant sign up sheet?

Yes. Pick White elephant sign-up, 20 lines in the Sheet list. Its boxes are Name, Gift (tick) and Turn number, because nobody is assigned a person in that game: each player brings one wrapped gift and pulls a turn number.

Can I type names on this Secret Santa printable sign up sheet?

Yes. Type in any box, or paste a list of names into the first Name box and it runs down the column. Then press Print filled sheet. What you type stays in this browser and is not sent to us.

Is this Secret Santa sheet printable in black and white?

Yes. Every sheet prints black on white with ruled boxes, on US Letter or A4, and nothing else on the page prints with it. For a PDF, choose Save as PDF in the print window.

What is the difference between Secret Santa and white elephant?

In Secret Santa each member of the group is randomly assigned one person to give a gift to. In a white elephant exchange nobody is assigned: every player supplies one wrapped gift, and players pick or steal gifts in turn order.

How this list was compiled

Written by the Game Night Generator editors on 2026-10-01: a paper form, own work. A gift exchange has no governing body and no standard sign-up sheet, so the layouts are the editors' own: numbered lines with boxes for Name, Please no (allergies and other no-gos) and Has drawn (the signer's initials) in sheets of 10, 20 and 30 lines, and a white elephant sheet of 20 lines with boxes for Name, Gift (tick) and Turn number. The printed top line carries blanks for the group, the spending limit, the sign-up date and the exchange date, filled in by pen. Two descriptions were checked on 2026-10-01. Secret Santa: members of a group are randomly assigned a person to whom they give a gift, and the giver may stay secret or be revealed at the end (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Santa). White elephant: each participant supplies one wrapped gift, and gifts are selected in a fixed order, often set by numbers drawn at random before the game starts (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_elephant_gift_exchange). The page draws no names and prints no name slips or gift tags. Nothing typed into the sheet is sent anywhere: it is kept in the visitor's own browser. Licence: own work
