How it works
These hard Bible trivia questions and answers are for a table that knows the stories: lesser-known people, places and journeys, ages and counts, the minor prophets, and what the text does not say. Every answer names its verse.

What the text does not say
The last round sorts habit from text. It asks which fruit Genesis 3 names, what Saul was riding on the road to Damascus and how often the book of Esther names God. For these, the whole passage was searched for the missing word.
Who said it, and to whom?
Each question gives a line, such as "to obey is better than sacrifice", and most offer four pairs of speaker and hearer. The verses printed with the answer name both. After a set of ten, More options lets you choose a round under Topic.
Tips
- Names follow the King James text, so Isaiah in the New Testament is Esaias; the reason says so.
Questions and answers
How hard are these Bible trivia questions?
All of them are marked hard, by our judgment. They ask for names such as Mephibosheth and Eutychus, for ages and counts, and for the exact wording of a verse, and the wrong choices are close to the right one.
What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
Psalm 117, with two verses. The longest chapter is Psalm 119, with 176 verses. Both counts are from the King James text.
Which books of the Bible never name God?
Two, in the King James text: Esther and the Song of Solomon. Neither "God" nor "LORD" appears anywhere in them.
Can I print hard Bible trivia questions with answers?
Yes. After a set of ten, Print question sheet prints 20 questions with lettered choices and no answers marked. Print answer key, under More options, prints the right letters with each reason and verse. The key is for the host.
