Six rounds of well-known stories
Creation to Noah asks what the dove brought back. Abraham to Joseph has the coat of many colors. Moses and the journey crosses the Red sea. Then come David, Daniel, Jonah and Esther, the life of Jesus, and the parables and the first church.
For a Sunday school class or a car ride
Read each question and its three choices aloud and let the children vote. For paper, finish a set of ten: the score card shows Print question sheet, and More options holds Topic and Print answer key.
Tips
- Easy questions suit ages 6 to 8; the one marked hard asks who Timothy's grandmother and mother were.
Questions and answers
What ages are these kids Bible trivia questions for?
Ages 6 to 12. About half are easy by our estimate, such as what Noah built. Words are kept short for reading aloud, and each question has three choices.
Which Bible stories do the questions ask about?
Creation, Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David, Daniel, Jonah, Esther, the boyhood and work of Jesus, the parables, and Peter and Paul in Acts.
Do the questions give the Bible verse?
Each answer names the book and chapter, such as Genesis 6, so a child can find the story. The wording follows the King James Version, and the link beside each answer opens that chapter.
How are stories with fighting handled?
By their plain outline only. David wins with a sling and a stone, and Daniel is put in the lions' den. Nothing more is described.
