Bible trivia questions with scripture reference
Every reason ends with its book, chapter and verse, and the link beside it opens that chapter of the King James text. Names follow that text, so the island in Acts 28 is Melita, with a note that the World English Bible prints Malta.
Bible trivia questions, printable with a key
Finish a set of ten and the score card shows Print question sheet, which prints 20 questions with lettered choices. Open More options there to pick a round under Topic or press Print answer key, which adds each answer with its verse.
Tips
- Start a mixed table on The Gospels: by our count it has the most easy questions.
- Who said it? gives a line and four speakers; the verse under the answer settles any argument.
Questions and answers
Are these Bible trivia questions from the King James Version?
Yes. Names and quoted words follow the King James Version, which is in the public domain. Some reasons add the World English Bible's word beside the King James one, such as love for charity.
Are these religious trivia questions about what a church teaches?
No. Each question asks only what the text says: who, where, how many, who said it. Nothing asks about doctrine or about one church's teaching, and no event is given a date.
Which are good Bible questions to ask a group?
Try Who said it?, which gives a line such as "Am I my brother's keeper?" and four speakers, or Numbers in the Bible, which asks how many and how long.
Is every question multiple choice?
Yes. Every question has four choices and one right answer. Tap a choice and the page marks it, then shows a line that says why, with the verse.
