Gin Rummy Score Sheet That Adds the Boxes and Bonuses: how it works
This free gin rummy score sheet keeps the race to 100 and then does the end-of-game sums: the 100 game bonus, a box for every hand won and the shutout. Type the winner's points after each hand. Other sheets score Oklahoma gin to 150 and plain rummy for up to 6 players.
Fill in a hand
Rename the two headings. After each hand the winner types the points and the loser types 0. A knock scores the difference between the two deadwood counts. Gin scores 20 plus the opponent's whole count, and an undercut gives the opponent the difference plus 10. The running score sits under each box and the first player to 100 is marked. The sheet then adds the 100 game bonus and 20 for every hand row above 0.

Gin arithmetic worth knowing
Aces count 1, face cards 10 and the rest their pips. The worst ten cards with no meld are two each of kings, queens, jacks and tens plus two nines: 98. Gin against that is 118, so one hand can end a game, and the sheet flags anything higher. Boxes matter too. Three hands for 100 finish on 260 with the game bonus, while nine small hands for 90 finish on 270.
Tips
- Playing 25 for gin, for an undercut and for a box? Switch to Gin rummy to 100: 25 for everything.
- As a rummy score keeper for a bigger table, use Rummy: winner scores the hand and press Add a player for a fifth or sixth.
- Print blank sheet gives 18 hand rows. A game outlasts them only if its hands average 11 points or less.
Questions and answers
Does it work as a plain rummy score sheet?
Yes, two ways. Rummy: winner scores the hand gives whoever went out every card left in the other hands. Rummy: penalty points to 100 charges each player their own cards, and the lowest total wins once someone reaches 100. Values match gin: ace 1, face cards 10.
Is the undercut bonus 10, 20 or 25?
All three are played. Pagat's main rules give 20 for gin, 10 for an undercut and 20 a box, and mention tables that pay 25 for all three. Wikipedia calls 25 typical. You type each hand's points yourself, so only the box value depends on the sheet you pick.
How does Oklahoma gin change the scoring?
The first upcard sets the most deadwood you can knock with: a seven means 7 or less, a face card 10. If it is a spade, the whole hand counts double, bonus included, so double it before typing. Oklahoma gin to 150 marks the first to 150 and pays 20 a box.
