A round for a youth group
Everyone holds up five fingers. Read a card; anyone who has done it puts one down and may tell the story. Easy cards drop fingers fast: Never have I ever sat in someone else's usual seat. Stop when the first player runs out.
Five sets, from the parking lot to camp
Before the first card, press Topic. Potlucks and coffee hour suits a church supper and Youth group and camp a retreat. Bible reading is about bookmarks, margins and losing your place, and names no passage. Hard cards belong to one or two people, such as ringing the church bell.
Tips
Leaders play too: a pastor who went home with someone else's dish gets the biggest laugh.
A lone finger down owes the circle the story, in one sentence.
Questions and answers
Is this game right for a church youth group?
Yes. Every statement is a harmless thing a churchgoer has or has not done. None jokes about a doctrine or a denomination, and none is about dating, drinking or anything a leader would need to explain to a parent.
How do the fingers work?
Players raise ten fingers, or five for a short round, and put one down whenever something they have done is read out. The last player with a finger still up wins, or the first with none tells one more story.
Can I print the cards for a retreat?
Yes. When a round ends, Print these gives the cards of the set you chose as slips to cut apart. Drop them in a hat and pass it around the circle.

How this list was compiled
Written by the Game Night Generator editors on 2026-09-30; every statement is our own wording and no list was copied from anywhere. Each is a harmless thing a churchgoer has or has not done on a Sunday morning, at a potluck, at camp, while serving or while reading the Bible. No statement asks anyone to confess a sin, a doubt or a belief, none jokes about a doctrine, a sacrament or a denomination, and none names a Bible book, story or passage, so no scripture is quoted or summarized. This is the fingers version of the game: players raise ten fingers, or sometimes five, and put one down whenever something they have done is mentioned, as described in Wikipedia's article, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Never_have_I_ever, read on 2026-09-30. Levels are an editor's estimate of how common the experience is: easy is something most of a congregation has done, medium splits a room, and hard is something only one or two people have done. Compared by script on 2026-09-30 with every other list on this site, its other church and Bible decks included: no statement is repeated. Licence: own work
