How this list was compiled: Written for this site on 2026-09-18; no list was copied from anywhere. The cards have no printed answers, because the answers belong to one couple: the host asks the bride, or her partner, before the shower and keeps the answer sheet. Six groups (105 cards, five of them added to Ten years from now on 2026-09-20) are questions about the couple for guests to guess, one group is would-the-bride-rather choices, and one is the list for the two-chair shoe game. Every card was screened to be read in front of grandparents, colleagues and children: nothing sexual, no alcohol, no former partners, no money or what anything cost, nothing about weight or looks, and no questions about having children. No card asks for a middle name, a pet's name or a hometown, the answers accounts use as security questions. Cards say 'her partner' so that the list fits any couple. Levels are ours: in the six guessing groups an easy card is one that any guest could guess, a medium card is one for friends and family, and a hard card is one that only the wedding party is likely to know; in the would-the-bride-rather and shoe game groups, easy cards are everyday habits, medium cards tease, and hard cards are the ones the couple will debate. In a bridal shower questions game the host reads a question about the couple, guests write a guess and the bride gives the real answer. Whoever knows the couple best wins. The 159 cards include 32 for the shoe game.

A week ahead: get the bride's answers
A week ahead, pick All about the bride, the how well do you know the bride round, press Copy the list and send it to her for answers. For How well she knows her partner, ask her partner. At the shower, pick the same topic, read a card, let guests write a guess, then she reveals. One point per match.
Would the bride rather, and the shoe game
Would the bride rather holds 22 would you rather questions for a bridal shower: guests raise a hand for one side, then she answers. For The shoe game, seat the couple back to back, each holding one of their own shoes and one of their partner's. Read "Who is the better driver?" and each raises the shoe of whoever fits.
Mixed room? Stay on Easy, which any guest can guess. Hard is for a table of bridesmaids.
Playing by table? +1 on the end card scores two tables.
If her partner cannot attend, record their answers on video and play each clip after the guesses.
Questions and answers
How many questions should the game have?
Fifteen to twenty is plenty. Guests tire of holding a pen after that. Most topics hold 15 to 20 cards, so one topic makes a full game. For the shoe game, twenty cards is enough.
Is this the same as he said, she said?
Close. In he said, she said, guests guess which partner said each line, and the he said she said sheet prints those lines. Here, The shoe game cards fit: ask both partners ahead, then guests guess what each said.
Can it work as a wedding questions game at the reception?
Yes. The shoe game and The proposal and the wedding travel well: seat the couple back to back on the dance floor and let someone from the wedding party read. Leave out How well she knows her partner unless someone collected answers ahead.
Are the questions safe for a mixed group of guests?
Yes. A shower puts the bride's friends, family and coworkers in one room, so no card is about former partners, money, weight, alcohol or plans for children. The boldest card asks who thinks they are always right.
