Print, write and fold
Press Print blank sheet, one copy a player. Write your name and three statements about yourself: two true and one a lie, in any order. Write the number of the lie on the last line and fold it under. For a big group, Two player sheets on one page halves the paper: cut each page across the middle.
The guess sheet
Guess sheet has a row for each speaker and a column for each guesser. As a speaker reads, every guesser writes 1, 2 or 3. The speaker unfolds the last line, and guessers count their right answers in the bottom row. Used as a two truths and a lie icebreaker template, one guess sheet serves a table of up to eight.
Tips
- Read all three statements in the same flat voice before anyone guesses.
- Make the lie smaller than the truths. A dull lie hides better than a wild one.
- Stuck for a statement? The two truths and a lie ideas page deals sentence starters.
