How these games were written: Our ranking, not a survey. Nobody was polled: the answers on each board stand in our own order, from the one a room is likely to shout first to the one likely to come last, and the number beside each answer is a fixed ladder for play (8 for the first answer, then 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1), not a count of people. All 6 games, their 40 boards and all 312 answers were written for this site in 2026, for teams that mix children, parents and grandparents. Nothing is copied from a TV show's question bank, a fan transcript, a boxed game or another website: on 2026-10-15 every question was compared with the 533 questions of this site's other survey game pages and with the ProtoQA research set of 9,762 questions collected from fan sites of the TV format (https://github.com/iesl/protoqa-data), and none equals one of them. Every board was screened for a crowd of every age: nothing sexual, no alcohol or drugs, no politics, no real people, no brand names, and nothing about divorce or any family's private business. The card and table games on one board (spades, dominoes, rummy, bingo, checkers, hearts, pinochle, go fish) are traditional games played with a standard deck, tiles or a plain board. How it works
These family reunion survey game questions are 40 boards about the cookout, the group photo and what grandparents say. A family reunion survey game plays like the game sold as Family Feud, which this site is not affiliated with.

Mix the generations on each team
Give each team a grandparent, a parent and a kid. In Grandparents and Elders, the old-days board (a rotary phone, a typewriter) goes to the elders and the tech-fix board to whoever set up the Wi-Fi, so both ends of the family score. The face-off and the steal are spelled out under survey game questions.
End on a board only your family can answer
Press Edit this game and add one board of your own: Name something Grandpa says at every cookout, or Name a dish only one aunt can make. List what the room would shout, most likely first, then press Save and play.
Playing in a park? Press Print host sheet and host from paper: questions, ranked answers and a score grid.
Second cousin and Cousin once removed are separate tiles; any other numbered cousin is the host's call.
Let the oldest relative in the room settle every disputed answer.
Questions and answers
How do you play a survey game at a family reunion?
Split into two teams, read a board aloud and tap each answer a team names. A miss is a strike, and three strikes give the other team one chance to steal. Six games of six or seven boards are ready.
Are the questions fair when kids and grandparents share a team?
Yes. Most boards are about things every age has seen: the cookout, the group photo, the goodbye that takes an hour. Cousins and Kids is the game for the youngest players: sack races, grass stains and where the kids disappear to.
Did you survey 100 families for these answers?
No, nobody was polled. The order on each board is ours: Food first on what every reunion has, Old photo albums last. The tile numbers are a ladder, 8 for the top answer down to 1, not a count of families.
