How these games were written: Our ranking, not a survey. Nobody was polled: the answers on each board stand in our own order, from the one a room is likely to shout first to the one likely to come last, and the number beside each answer is a fixed ladder for play (8 for the first answer, then 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1), not a count of people. All 6 games, their 40 boards and all 308 answers were written for this site in 2026. Nothing is copied from a TV show's question bank, a fan transcript, a boxed game or another website: on 2026-10-15 every question was compared with the 533 questions of this site's other survey game pages and with the ProtoQA research set of 9,762 questions collected from fan sites of the TV format (https://github.com/iesl/protoqa-data), and none equals one of them. Every board was screened for a party with children and grandparents in the room: nothing sexual, no alcohol or drugs, no real people, no brand names and no song words; the boards about getting older tease the calendar and never a person. One board leans on fact. The birthstone board follows the United States list of 2019 in the table at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthstone, checked 2026-10-15: its eight tiles are the stones of April (diamond), July (ruby), May (emerald), September (sapphire), June (pearl), October (opal), February (amethyst) and January (garnet). The stones of March (aquamarine), August (peridot), November (topaz) and December (turquoise), and the alternates that list gives some months, are true answers the board leaves off. Licence: own work
How it works
These birthday survey game questions are 40 boards about cake, candles, presents and getting older. They suit a party round of the game sold as Family Feud, which this site is not affiliated with.

A run order for the party
Open with Birthday Warm-Up while guests are still arriving: its boards are about birthdays in general, so nobody has to know the guest of honor. Play Cake and Candles before the cake is cut and Presents and Cards before the gifts are opened. How the face-off and the steal work is on the survey game questions page.
Twelve months, eight tiles
The birthstone board holds eight of the twelve months: diamond, ruby, emerald, sapphire, pearl, opal, amethyst and garnet. Aquamarine for March, peridot for August, topaz for November and turquoise for December are true answers it leaves off, so agree before the round whether they earn a strike.
On the milestone board, flip Sixteen for sweet sixteen and The first for a first birthday.
If the guest of honor dreads the number, skip Getting Older and play Presents and Cards.
Questions and answers
Which boards work for a kid's birthday party?
Birthday Warm-Up, Cake and Candles and Kids' Parties, 21 boards between them: favor bags, what is inside a piñata, party themes and the fight for the corner slice. Leave Getting Older for the grown-ups' table.
Which boards suit a 50th or 60th birthday party?
Milestone Birthdays and Getting Older, 12 boards: surprise parties and how they get spoiled, what friends bring out at a 50th and gifts that hint at your age. They tease the calendar and never a person: nothing is crude, and no board is about drinking.
Were 100 people surveyed for these answers?
No. Each board is our ranking, not a survey: Candles before Sprinkles on top of the cake, the corner slice before the middle. The numbers on the tiles are a fixed ladder, 8 down to 1, not a count of people.
Can I add questions about the birthday person?
Yes. Press Edit this game and write a board such as Name something Dad says every morning. List the answers the family would shout, most likely first, then press Save and play. Your copy stays in this browser.
