Bible Survey Game Questions and Answers: how it works
These Bible survey game questions and answers are 40 boards in 6 games, from In the Beginning to What Jesus Taught, on a tap-to-reveal board with strikes and two team scores. We looked up every answer in the World English Bible, so only the order is ours. Play them like the game sold as Family Feud, which this site is not affiliated with.
Run a game at youth group
Put a laptop on the projector, or tick Host view and keep the answers on your phone. Pick a Game and split the room. One player from each side answers, and the higher tile wins control. That team answers in turn: tap a tile for a match, press Strike for a miss. After strike three the other team confers and steals with one guess. Press Give points, then Next round.
Right, but not on the board
A board holds eight tiles and the Bible often holds more: twelve disciples, ten plagues, nine fruit of the Spirit. Naphtali is a son of Jacob and still misses that board. Pick a rule before you start: a strike, or the kinder one, right but not up there, answer again. Most questions name their chapter, so an open Bible settles a dispute. Boards pay 8 points for the top tile down to 1; a seven-board game holds about 250.
Tips
Tiles follow the World English Bible: Jonah's board says a huge fish, and Noah's dove carries an olive leaf. Give the tile to whale and to branch anyway.
Christian survey game questions go better when the youngest can score: start with In the Beginning, and keep Letters and the Whole Bible for adults.
Church survey game questions and answers make a lesson review: after a unit on Exodus, play Moses and the Exodus.
Questions and answers
Are these Bible survey game questions and answers printable, and free?
Yes to both. Press Print host sheet and the game on screen prints with every answer in rank order, the points and a blank score grid. Pick another Game and print again for all 6.
Which translation do the answers follow?
The World English Bible, a public domain text. Tiles follow its wording, except five familiar words we kept, such as the ark where it says ship. Every book used is in Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox Bibles.
How are biblical survey game questions ranked with no survey?
We polled nobody. Each board runs from the answer we expect a room to shout first, such as Peter among the disciples, to the one we expect last. It is our ranking, not a survey. To reorder a board, press Edit a copy, change it, then press Save and play.

How these games were written: All 6 games, their 40 boards and all 310 answers were written for this site by the editors in 2026. Every answer was checked against the World English Bible, 2020 stable text, a public domain translation: the full text was downloaded from https://ebible.org/Scriptures/eng-web_vpl.zip (linked from https://ebible.org/web/) on 2026-09-18, and each answer was looked up, by script and then by hand, in the verses named in the board's "ref" field. Names and wording follow that translation (a huge fish, lice, a rod, a tent maker, the gentle), except five tiles that keep the familiar church word: the ark (it says ship), a coat of many colors (tunic), the sun and the moon (the two great lights), a golden calf (a molded calf made from golden rings) and John the Baptist (John the Baptizer). Parable names are the traditional ones. Only the 66 books that Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox Bibles share are used. A board holds eight tiles at most and many questions have more true answers than that (the twelve sons of Jacob, the ten plagues, the Ten Commandments, the twelve disciples, the nine fruit of the Spirit, any king of Judah), so a true answer can be missing from a board. Unlike a TV survey board, every answer here is either in the passage or it is not; only the order is ours. No survey was carried out and nobody was polled. The answers on each board stand in our own order, from the one we expect a room to shout first to the one we expect last, and the points are a fixed ladder for play: 8 for the first answer, then 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. They are not a count of people. Nothing is copied from a TV show's question bank, a fan transcript, a boxed game or another website, and no question repeats one on this site's other survey game pages. The boards ask what the text says and take no side on doctrine. The play rules the page describes (the face-off, three strikes, the steal after conferring, the round's points going to one team, a points goal) follow Wikipedia's article on the TV format, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_Feud, checked 2026-09-18.
