Wedding Survey Game Questions for the Shower and the Reception: how it works

These 48 wedding survey game questions cover the bridal shower, the rehearsal dinner and the reception, ranked by us and not by a survey. They play like the game sold as Family Feud, which this site is not affiliated with.

Where it fits in each event

At the shower, play At the Bridal Shower between the food and the gifts. At the rehearsal dinner, seat the two families as the two teams and open The Night Before. At the reception, run three or four boards of Wedding Warm-Up while the couple is away for photos. The face-off and the steal are explained under survey game questions.

Answers that start arguments

The vows board uses the 1662 prayer book wording, so one tile reads Till death us do part. Flip it for till death do us part. Let penny or coin flip A sixpence in her shoe. Birdseed sits beside rice on the send-off board because venue managers often prefer it.

Tips

  • No screen at the venue? Press Print host sheet, or tick Host view and read from a phone.
  • For two brides or two grooms, press Edit a copy, reword the role boards, then Save and play.
  • The anniversary board wants the material, not the year: gold is the 50th, silver the 25th, paper the 1st.

Questions and answers

Which are the bridal shower survey game questions?

At the Bridal Shower and Planning the Wedding, 12 boards between them: shower gifts, shower games, advice cards, the something old rhyme and what goes wrong on the day. Wedding Warm-Up fits too, since nobody needs to have planned a wedding to score.

Were real wedding guests surveyed for these answers?

No. Nobody was polled: each board is our ranking, not a survey, and the points are a fixed ladder, 8 for the top tile down to 1. Each six-board game holds about 210 points, so play to 100.

Are the questions clean enough for grandparents, co-workers and kids?

Yes. No board mentions alcohol, the garter, former partners or anyone's body, and nothing comes from a hen or stag night. The jokes are about a flower girl who freezes halfway down the aisle and wedding photos left on a hard drive.

How these games were written: Our ranking, not a survey. All 8 games, 48 boards and 369 answers were written for this site by the editors in 2026, and nobody was polled: the points are a fixed ladder for play, 8 for the first answer down to 1, not a count of people. Nothing is copied from a TV show's question bank, a boxed game or another website, and no board repeats a question from this site's other survey game pages. Screened for a room with grandparents, co-workers and children: no alcohol, no garter, no former partners, no jokes about anyone's body, no brands, no song titles, no real people.
