Three rounds of history
The first builders runs from a stone circle 1.8 million years old to Imhotep. Greece, Rome and China has Roman cement, the oldest construction drawing and the oldest joint in woodworking. Cathedrals to megaprojects goes from flying buttresses to the Iron Bridge and the skyscraper.
One round of site talk
Words of the trade asks what MEP, CAD and BIM stand for, what heavy civil means and what a quantity surveyor does.

What are some easy construction trivia questions?
What were the first bridges probably made of? Which two inventions made skyscrapers possible? What does CAD stand for? The answers are wooden logs, elevators and cranes, and computer-aided design.
Is there safety or how-to advice in the quiz?
No. The questions are history, materials and vocabulary. Nothing here is instruction for building, lifting or working on a site.
Who was the first architect?
Imhotep, who lived around 2650 to 2600 BC in Egypt, is credited with being the first recorded architect and engineer.
