How it works

Every card is a question for the person whose birthday it is. These 100 birthday questions for adults cover the year just gone, the year ahead and birthdays past, with 30 light ones and a set each for turning 30, 40, 50 and 60.

Start with the fun birthday questions

Under Topic or milestone, Fun birthday questions leaves 30 light cards a coworker could ask: what is the correct birthday cake, and what is an imposter? The year just gone (16 cards) and The year ahead (12) suit the table once the plates are cleared. Easy has 50 cards, Medium 34 and Hard 16.

Turning 30, 40, 50 or 60

Each milestone pill leaves 8 cards about the decade just finished and the one starting. Memory researchers describe a reminiscence bump: adults over forty recall more from about ages 10 to 30 than from later years, and it is the happy events that stand out.
