This deck deals one card at a time from 88 would you rather questions. Superpowers are the only subject, and nearly every power has a limit: Teleport only to places you have been or fly only to places you can see. Tap a side to vote. No hero or film is named.
Why every power here has a catch
A plain flight-or-invisibility card gets a fast answer and no talk. A limit reopens the choice: Fly no higher than a rooftop or run fast only in straight lines makes the room argue about rooftops. Read the card aloud and tap once per hand. Next question deals again and Skip puts a card back.
Seven chips, from flight to sidekicks
Classic powers, each with a catch holds 16 cards on flight, strength, speed and invisibility. Mind powers, Weather and elements and Shape and size follow. Tiny powers holds 10 small ones, such as Fold laundry with a snap or wash dishes with a wink. The hero's life and Sidekicks and teams hold 27 cards on capes, lairs and teammates. Young heroes marks 27 cards a six-year-old can answer. Big debates marks 18 where both sides cost something.
Tips
For a long argument, press Big debates and then Hard. That leaves 16 cards, such as Save the day and get no credit or get the credit and save nothing.
With young children, press Young heroes and then Easy for 24 cards, such as Have a lair under a volcano or have a lair above a bakery.
After a vote, ask the winners what they would do first, and the losers how the catch would spoil it.
Questions and answers
Are these superhero would you rather questions about comic or film characters?
No. Every card uses a generic power, such as flight, invisibility, strength or reading minds, and none names a hero, a villain, a team or a film. The hero's life cards borrow only stock ideas: a cape, a mask, a lair, a sidekick and a nemesis.
What are the rules for arguing a card?
Pick one of the two options as written. Both and neither are not answers, and nobody may remove the catch. Anything the card leaves open is fair to argue: whether a rooftop means a shed or a skyscraper is for the table to settle before the vote.
How is this different from the Odd powers cards in the main deck?
The main would you rather deck has a group of small everyday powers, such as always knowing which way is north. None is repeated here: the two decks were compared by script, and no option appears in both. This deck covers the big classic powers and the hero's life around them.
