These valentines this or that questions are about friends, cards and candy, with no romance anywhere: 86 short pairs in 7 groups, from Monster mailbox or robot mailbox to Say thanks out loud or write thanks down. A press on either button is a vote, and the count stays on this phone or computer. Fifteen pairs are worded as would you rather questions.

Run it at a class party or a team meeting
In a classroom, read both options aloud, have students stand for the first and stay seated for the second, then press an answer once per student. Next question brings the next pair. At work, pass one phone around the treat table.
Which topic fits which party
Candy and treats (13 pairs) and Cards and crafts (13) cover the day itself: Shoebox mailbox or paper bag mailbox. Class and office party has 12 for whoever is planning. Friendship (12) and Kind things to do (11) work any week. Customs near and far has 10 pairs with a fact in the list, and Would you rather, the last topic, has 15 longer dilemmas. - Run Class and office party as a real poll a week ahead: Everyone brings a treat or one big shared cake.
- Start on Easy, 30 quick picks such as Pink envelope or red envelope. The Hard pairs, such as Long talk or comfortable quiet, earn a follow-up why.
- Turn a Kind things to do vote into a job: whichever side wins, Sidewalk chalk hearts or sticky note hearts, the class does it by Friday.
Questions and answers
Are these Valentine's Day this or that questions right for a classroom?
Yes. The deck is about friendship, cards and treats. No card mentions dating, crushes or partners, none asks a player to pick a favorite person in the room, and treats are named without brands.
Do these work as valentine would you rather questions?
Yes. Pick Would you rather for 15 valentines would you rather questions such as Would you rather write fifty short kind notes or one kind note fifty lines long? Why is there a card about Friend's Day?
Because February 14 is not about couples everywhere. In Finland the day is ystävänpäivä, Friend's Day.
