Who was the first king of Portugal?

Afonso Henriques. He won the Battle of São Mamede in 1128 and, by legend, took the title of King after the Battle of Ourique in 1139. León recognized him implicitly at Zamora in 1143.

Where is the highest point of Portugal?

On Pico Island in the Azores: the summit of Mount Pico, a volcano. No mountain on the mainland is as high.
