How this list was compiled: Written by the Game Night Generator editors for this page on 2026-10-03 from general knowledge of party games. We wrote every description ourselves and copied no wording from a television show or from another site's list. Party games are passed around freely, so a mechanic here may also be played elsewhere under another name. The games were written to fit about a minute in a dimmed room, with enough light left to see the floor. They have not been stopwatch-tested, so every target (five catches, three notes, two trips) is a starting point for the host to raise or lower. No game uses food, nobody runs, and no glow stick is cut, bent a second time or put near a mouth. Facts read on 2026-10-03: the National Capital Poison Center's page on glow sticks says they are not poisonous, that the liquid can irritate the mouth, skin and eyes, that leaked liquid is rinsed off with water, and lists among its tips not to cut glow sticks open, to keep glow sticks and glow jewelry out of the mouth, to supervise children and to throw away a stick that is cracked or leaking, at https://www.poison.org/articles/glow-sticks; the television show named in the introduction gives a contestant 60 seconds a game, from its English Wikipedia article. Compared by script on 2026-10-03 with every other list on this site: no game name is repeated. Licence: own work
