How it works
Each card is one round of common link trivia questions: four short clues, four answers, and one thing the answers share. Some hosts call them trivia questions with a common bond. All 40 rounds are listed below with answers.

How a common bond round works
Read the four clues aloud, one at a time. Teams write an answer to each, then one more line: what the four answers have in common. Press Show answer for the four answers and the link. Let teams change an earlier answer once the link dawns on them.
Connection trivia questions and answers, by topic
The rounds come in four topics: words, letters and numbers; nature and science; games, sport and music; places and everyday things. Easy links are plain sets, such as planets or chess pieces. Hard ones hide in a second meaning: a foot, a yard, an ounce and a mole are all units of measurement.
- If a team finds a different link that truly fits all four answers, give it the points.
Questions and answers
What are common link trivia questions?
Four questions, or four quick clues, whose answers have one thing in common. Quiz hosts also call it a common bond round or a connection round. Teams answer all four and then name the link.
How do you score common bond trivia rounds of 4 questions?
One way is a point for each of the four answers and two for the bond, six a round. Rules vary: some hosts score the bond alone, or give more for naming it after fewer clues.
Can a team guess the link without all four answers?
Yes, and that is the skill of the round. Lima, tango and golf are enough to see the spelling alphabet, and the link then hands the team the fourth answer, hotel.
Have the answers been checked?
Yes. On October 8, 2026 each answer and each link was read in the English Wikipedia article on its subject. A link that depends on slang or on a brand name was left out.
