How it works

This baby shower emoji game has 50 puzzles: a box and a laughing face for bundle of joy, an egg and a wall for a rhyme. Every answer is a baby thing, a saying, a nursery rhyme or a lullaby.

Play ten puzzles, then print the emoji sheet

Tap one of the four answers and the page says how the pictures spell it. After the tenth puzzle the score card shows Print question sheet, a sheet of 20 for the guests. More options on that card holds Print answer key and the Round menu, so a sheet can keep to one round.

Three rounds

Round 1 is baby things and sayings, such as forty winks and wet behind the ears. Round 2 is nursery rhymes. Round 3 is lullabies and sleepy songs, the hardest of the three, so keep it for last.

Tips
  • Emoji look a little different on each phone. If a row stumps the room, read out its four choices.

How this list was compiled: Own work. The Game Night Generator editors wrote 50 emoji puzzles in three rounds: 25 baby things and sayings, 15 nursery rhymes and 10 lullabies and sleepy songs. No answer was taken from a children's book, a film or a modern song. The rhymes are traditional. Among the lullabies, the youngest text with a named author is a poem of 1889, and two are traditional songs with no known date. On 2 October 2026 each saying was read in the idioms pages of The Free Dictionary (idioms.thefreedictionary.com), each everyday word in the dictionary entries it reprints (thefreedictionary.com), and each rhyme and lullaby, with any date or author in its explanation, in its English Wikipedia article (text under CC BY-SA 4.0). Four plain phrases (high chair, baby monitor, bath time, baby names) need no source and are marked own work. Every emoji is a picture published by 2019, so the rows show on older phones, and emoji stand only in the question, never in an answer. No row of pictures and no answer repeats a card of this site's emoji charades deck, and none of the 15 rhymes is an emoji puzzle on the nursery rhyme game page. Licence: own work
