Tips
  • From field to table suits a Thanksgiving table: it asks about pie, spice and seeds, not Halloween.
  • No question asks for the heaviest pumpkin or the top-growing state, because both change.

How this list was compiled

Written for this site; nothing was copied from another list. Every question, wrong choice and explanation is our own wording. Each answer agrees with a sentence in the English Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org) named and linked beside the question, read on 2026-10-02; one word history cites the Wiktionary entry for pumpkin (https://en.wiktionary.org). Every extra claim in an explanation was read on the same page. All four rounds stay on the pumpkin and its closest kin: the plant, the pumpkin in the kitchen, carved lanterns and pumpkin customs, and what the fruit and its name are in other countries. Left out on purpose: the heaviest pumpkin on record, the ranking of states and countries by crop and other figures that change, brand names, drinks, living people and the titles of stories and rhymes. Facts the site's fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving packs already ask (that a pumpkin is a squash and a kind of berry, that bees pollinate it, the turnip lantern and the tale behind it, the lights over the bogs, which spices go into the pie spice, the town that calls itself the pumpkin capital, the giant variety, the Three Sisters, the county of Punkie Night) were left out or asked from another side, so no question here repeats one of theirs word for word as they stood on 2026-10-02. Levels are our estimate for a mixed table of adults and older children; each round is stored easiest first. Licence: own work
