One game per printout

You land on Know the host. Open the box below the button to switch to any other game, then print. The rules head the paper. Closed covers come out as blanks to fill in, while the host's last page collects every answer and sample.

Adults, kids or both

As they open, the sheets are printable party games for adults. A younger crowd needs one more step: More filters at the bottom of the box, then Kids' party, which trims every game to lines a child can manage and leaves odd one out its easier rows.

Tips
  • For How many in the jar, fill only the jars you have, and count each one before the guests arrive.
  • In odd one out, a different answer with a good reason can still earn the point.

Questions and answers

What party games can you print and play with a pencil?

Five are here: a quiz about the host, words made from the letters of a long word, an A to Z race with a prompt for every letter, guesses for jars on the table, and odd one out.

How does how many in the jar work?

Fill up to ten jars with small things such as buttons or dry pasta, and count each one first. Guests write a guess for every jar, and the nearest guess wins that jar.

How do you score words from a word?

Give one point for each real word of three letters or more made from the letters of the long word. A letter can be used only as often as it appears in that word.

Are the odd one out answers checked?

Yes. Each answer was read against an encyclopedia article on 2 October 2026: Pluto is a dwarf planet, a bat is a mammal. The answer and its reason sit under each Show answer cover.

How this list was compiled: Written for this site on 2026-10-02 by the gamenightgenerator editors: five pencil games for any party, with invented sample answers that describe no real person. Own work; nothing was copied from another site. Every sample word under Words from a word was checked by script to use only the letters of its long word. Each Odd one out answer was read on 2026-10-02 against the opening of the Wikipedia article linked on its row (en.wikipedia.org, text under CC BY-SA 4.0): Pluto is a dwarf planet, a trumpet is a brass instrument, a bat is a mammal, and so on for all twenty.
