How it works

This airplane bingo printable is a spotting game for a flight day, in three lists: at the airport, on the plane and out the window. No airline, aircraft maker or airport is named, so the cards suit any trip.

Print before you leave for the airport

Give each traveler a card: set How many cards, then press the print button, and every card comes out different. Mark a square once you have seen or heard it yourself. A line of five wins, and the middle square is free.

Airport, cabin or window

Under More options, Ready-made list offers At the airport, On the plane and Out the window. A single list is one square longer than a card, so the cards hold almost the same squares in different places: a fair race between two seats in a row. With no printer, open this page on a phone and tap a square to mark it.

Tips
  • Out the window needs a window seat; give the aisle seat an On the plane card.
  • Under More options, type your own square over any line, such as the city you are flying to.

Questions and answers

What is on the airplane bingo cards?

Airport sights such as Luggage tag and Baggage carousel, cabin squares such as Tray table and Tiny pretzels, and window sights such as Contrail and Patchwork fields. The full list below shows every square.

Is this the same as the airport scavenger hunt?

No. The airport scavenger hunt is a list of finds a family ticks off together, scored in points. These are bingo cards with other squares, and each traveler gets a different card to race.

Does airplane bingo work on a night flight?

Partly. The airport and cabin lists work at any hour. From the window list, City lights, Blinking wing light and Lights along the runway show at night; most of the rest need daylight.

How this list was compiled: Own work by the editors, written on 2026-10-02 as a list of things to spot on a flight day; no outside page was read for it, and nothing was copied from another bingo card. Each of the three lists holds 25 squares, enough to fill a 5 x 5 card with a free center by itself. No airline, aircraft maker, airport, shop or product is named. Every square is marked by looking or listening from where the traveler already is. The few lines beside a square say what the thing is in plain words and state no outside fact. The list was compared with the site's airport scavenger hunt and its road trip card so that it repeats no line of either: the hunt has the departures screen, the moving walkway, the baggage carts and the view of rivers and mountains, and this card has other sights.
