How it works

Give yourself a point icebreaker games need one reader and a room that can count. Each statement names its own value: 1 point for everyday things, 3 for uncommon ones and 5 for rare ones.

How to play a round

Press Next card and read the statement out. Everyone it fits adds the points on fingers or on paper, and nobody has to say which ones they scored. The deck pauses after twelve statements: the highest total wins the round. Ask one high scorer for the story behind a 5.

Six sets, three values

The sets are This morning, Food, Places, School and work, Talents and odd skills, and Kind things. Easy cards are worth 1, Medium 3 and Hard 5. The values are the editors' guess at how rare a thing is, not a measurement.

  • Start a new group on This morning, where everybody scores something.
  • Kind things makes a good last round: the winner is whoever helped the most people lately.

How this list was compiled: Own work: statements written by the Game Night Generator editors for this page on 2026-10-03, each beginning Give yourself and carrying its own value. No list was copied. The values are the editors' guess at how rare a thing is: 1 point for everyday things, 3 for uncommon ones, 5 for rare ones. They are not a measurement, and no survey was taken. No statement sorts people by family, money, health, body, faith or where they come from. A script compared every statement with every other list on this site, by exact text and by shared words, and statements that repeated one elsewhere were replaced. Licence: own work
