Virtual Baby Shower Games

Every guest is on a screen, so each game says what to share and how answers come in.

  1. Bodysuit Designs, Held Up Together1. Guests need paper and a few colored pens. 2. The host shows the outline of a baby bodysuit on a sheet, and everyone copies it. 3. In three minutes, guests decorate theirs with a picture or a slogan. 4. All designs go up on three. The parents-to-be pick one to have made. Players: 2 to 30. Time: 8 min. Props: paper and colored pens each.
  2. Advice Cards: Keep It or Toss It1. The host mails each guest a blank card with a stamped envelope addressed to the mom-to-be. 2. Guests write one piece of friendly advice, sign it and mail it back. 3. On the call, she reads each card aloud without the name. 4. Guests vote with a thumb up for keep or a thumb down for toss. She sorts two piles, and the writers of the keep pile take a bow. Players: 3 to 30. Time: 15 min. Props: advice cards and stamped envelopes, mailed ahead.
  3. Due Date Guesses, Sealed Before the Call1. Two weeks ahead, the host mails or emails each guest a prediction card: the date, the hour and the first letter of the name. 2. Guests send it back before the shower. 3. On the call, the host reads every guess aloud, earliest date first, and guests cheer for their own. 4. The parents keep the cards, and the closest date gets a message when the baby arrives. Players: 3 to 40. Time: 8 min. Props: a prediction card for each guest, mailed ahead.

How it works

These virtual baby shower games are written for a shower where every guest is on a video call. Each one says what the host shares, what a guest needs at home and how the answers come in.

Pick by what the call can do

The All games menu keeps one kind: Screen-share games, Camera games, Mailed-ahead games or Voice-only games. Its last entry, More filters, sorts by head count, by minutes, and by Shared screen, Camera or Voice only.

What goes in the mail

The mailed games need something sent ahead: a prediction card, an advice card, a numbered ticket, a ribbon with a tag. For three other games the host gathers a few baby things, and the rest ask guests only for paper, a pen and things already in the house.

Tips
  • Read the turn order aloud before each voice game, so that nobody talks over anyone.

Questions and answers

How do you play baby shower games on a video call?

The host shares a screen or holds things up to the camera, and guests answer in the chat, on paper held up to the camera, or out loud in a set order. Five-Item Dash for Baby Things needs no preparation at all.

Can you play baby shower bingo virtually?

Yes, in two ways. In Baby Bingo From a Shared Word List, guests copy nine words from the screen into a grid they draw. In Mailed Bingo Cards for the Gift Opening, they fill a mailed card with gifts they expect to see opened.

Which games need nothing prepared?

Most of the Voice-only games. Each Name Begins Where the Last One Ended; Finish the Rhyme Line, Next Voice; and Nursery List From Two Initials run with cameras off and nothing in hand.

What do guests need at home?

For most games, paper and a pen. A few ask for a soft toy and a dish towel, a paper napkin or a baby photo. Each game ends with its list of props.

How this list was compiled: Written by the Game Night Generator editors on 2026-10-03 for a baby shower where every guest is on a video call, in our own words. Each game says what the host shares, what a guest needs at home and how the answers come in. Only a shared screen, the chat, mute and the camera are relied on, which every call tool has. Player ranges and times are our estimates. No game asks anything about a body, and none involves alcohol. No facts are stated, so nothing was checked against an outside source. Licence: own work
