Print it, then circle on paper
The list on screen is a preview of the sheet, and the circling happens on paper with a pen. Press Print this list and make a copy for each person in the draw. Everyone circles one choice in every pair, then ticks the box beside the three pairs their Santa should start with.
A work sheet or a family sheet
In the menu under the button, choose Work sheet for pairs an office can hand round: treats, desk things, colors, and how the gift is wrapped. Family sheet swaps the desk pairs for home ones, such as Blanket or slippers. Pick 20 new pairs changes the mix until the sheet suits your group.
Tips
- Write the spending limit and the hand-in date on one printed copy before you photocopy it.
- These work as this or that gift questions for any draw: a birthday, a teacher's gift, a team farewell.
Questions and answers
What are good this or that questions for Secret Santa?
Pairs a shopper can act on: Gummies or lollipops? Scented or unscented? Novel or cookbook? Gift card or wrapped surprise? Each answer crosses half the options off a giver's list.
How is this different from a Secret Santa questionnaire?
The questionnaire asks open questions, each with a line to write on, and ends with three wishes. This sheet only asks people to circle, so it is quick to fill in and names no wish. Some groups hand out both.
Can I save the sheet as a PDF?
Yes, through your browser. Press Print this list and choose Save as PDF in the print box. The file holds the pairs on screen, the three lines at the top and the four instructions.
