This Santa wish list is a sheet your child fills in by hand. Choose from 58 prompts in twelve sections, from Something I want to A question for the reindeer, then press Print. The sheet comes out with lines for a name, an age and the date, plus a box and a writing line for every prompt. It works as a Santa list for kids of any writing age.

Build the sheet from one phone
The page opens with 10 prompts. Pick 10 new prompts deals another set. In the list that reads All prompts, choose a section, such as My top wishes, to see only those lines. Every prompt has a Show hint cover with an idea for the grown-up. Leave the covers closed when you print, because a closed cover becomes the line your child writes on. Leave the tick boxes empty: a ticked box prints with a cross in it.
How to make a list for Santa
Keep it short: five wishes are plenty for a child who is just starting to write, and ten is enough for anyone. Mix the kinds of wish. The Want, need, wear, read section is the four-gift set many families use. Then add one line that is not about getting, from Something I would like to give or A wish for someone else. A Santa Christmas list with a thank-you and a question on it reads like a letter, and it tells gift-givers more than a row of toy names.
The printed sheet and what the phone remembers
Print gives the heading, write-on lines for My name, My age and The date, six numbered instructions for your child, then the prompts in two columns. Prompts print in the shuffled order on screen, so read the list first. All 58 prompts are printed under the tool, section by section, with their hints. This browser remembers which prompts it has shown until all have come up.
- Early writers can draw the wish or glue in a catalog picture on the back. Keep a line from A drawing for Santa.
- Photograph the finished sheet. Grandparents who ask for a gift list for Santa can have the photo.
- Mailing it? Skip the glue and glitter. USPS asks for flat letters with nothing glued on.

What goes on Santa's wish list?
Whatever your child wants to tell Santa, and a good sheet has more than toys on it. The twelve sections cover wishes, things to do, things to give, a thank-you, questions for Santa, the reindeer and the elves, a snack plan, a drawing and a sign-off. An Xmas list for Santa with five wishes and one question is complete.
How many wishes should a child put on the list?
Short lists get read. For a young child, start with My top wishes in the All prompts list. Its ten prompts ask for different kinds of wish, such as one that fits in a stocking and one that costs no money, so the list does not become ten toys from one shelf.
Where do you send a Santa Claus Christmas list?
In the United States, USPS Operation Santa takes letters addressed to Santa, 123 Elf Road, North Pole, 88888, with a stamp and a return address, and does not promise that a letter is adopted. In Canada, write to Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0, Canada. No stamp is needed within Canada, and Canada Post says Santa answers every letter. Cut-off dates change every year: for 2026 they are December 5 and December 9 (official pages checked 2026-09-19). This site is not connected with either postal service.
Does the sheet have a year on it?
No. Nothing on the sheet is dated, so a Santa list 2025 printout and this year's look the same. Your child writes the date on the third line at the top, which turns the sheet into a keepsake.
Does my child type anything into the page?
No. The page deals prompts and prints them. Your child's name, age and wishes go on paper with a pencil, so nothing about your child is stored or sent anywhere. The browser keeps only which prompts it has shown. If you tick a box on screen, it keeps that list too.
