How it works

These funny baby shower games are the loud half of a shower: races with dolls and diapers, blindfold pairs and dance-offs. Each one ends with a job for a guest who would rather judge than play.

Pick by how much the room wants to move

The All games menu sorts by kind. The diaper games and Bottle and spoon races are relays and table games. The dance games need a clear floor, and Timed table stunts are played at a table against a watch.

Keep the quiet guests in the game

Every entry names a judging job: holding the stopwatch, counting, inspecting a diaper. Offer those first to anyone who would rather not race.

Tips
  • Bottles hold water or juice, and the applesauce game comes with a bib.
  • Diapers that go unused in the games can go to the parents unopened.

Questions and answers

How do you play the diaper derby baby shower game?

As a relay. Each player diapers the team's doll, carries it around a chair and hands it on, and the next player changes the diaper before running. A diaper that falls off on the lap sends the runner back.

What is the diaper pong baby shower game?

A bouncing game with no drinks in it. Six open diapers are taped to a table as cups, and players bounce table tennis balls into them for points. First to ten wins.

How does the baby shower dirty diaper game work?

A different chocolate bar is melted into each of six numbered diapers. Guests look and sniff, never taste, and write down the kind of bar by its filling: caramel, nougat, peanut. Most right wins.

Which games suit guests who do not want to race?

Every game has a judging job, and The Dirty Diaper Guess, Juice Tasting From Baby Bottles and Name That Wail are played sitting down.

As soon as they start, the rest of the room wails like a hungry baby, and gets louder every five seconds. 3. The player has to wipe, diaper and dress the doll, and may not skip a step. 4. Time each player. The crying stops only when the last snap is done. For anyone who would rather judge: conduct the crying and work the stopwatch. Players: 4 to 20. Time: 10 min. Props: a doll in a bodysuit, diapers and wipes.
  • Diaper a Balloon That Will Not Lie Still 1. Give each player a round balloon blown up to the size of a melon, and a diaper. 2. On go, each player diapers the balloon with both tabs fastened. 3. The balloon may not be pinned between the knees or sat on. 4. The first diaper that stays on when the balloon is held up by its knot wins. A popped balloon starts again with a new one. • Diaper Derby Relay 1. Each team gets a doll, a stack of diapers and a chair at the far end of the room. 2. The first player diapers the doll, carries it around the chair and hands it to the next player. 3. That player takes the diaper off, puts on a fresh one and does the lap. 4. A diaper that falls off on the lap sends the runner back to the changing table. The first team through wins. For anyone who would rather judge: stand at the chair and rule on any diaper that slips. Players: 6 to 24. Time: 10 min. Props: a doll and a stack of diapers for each team.

How this list was compiled: Written by the Game Night Generator editors on 2026-10-03 for a baby shower that wants to laugh. The games and their wording are our own, and player ranges and times are our estimates. Every entry ends with a job for a guest who would rather judge than play. Bottles hold water or juice only, the chocolate game names bars by their filling and no brand, nobody tastes from a diaper, and no game is about anyone's body. No history or official rule is stated, so nothing was checked against an outside source. Licence: own work
