Camper awards: ideas for every bunk

Work from the cabin list, so every camper goes home with one. Cabin life has the tidy bunks, the letter writers and the table captains. Waterfront and trail and Campfire, crafts and games follow the activity periods, from archery to the talent show. Kindness is for the camper who made the session better without winning anything.

Awards for counselors, chosen by campers

Counselors and staff has awards for the cabin counselor, the lifeguard, the craft leader and the cook. Let each cabin choose the one for its own counselor, and read those out last.

  • Write each title on a paper plate and let the cabin decorate it before the campfire.

How this list was compiled: Our own list, written for this page: 50 award titles for a summer camp, ten in each of five groups, each with the reason under it. Nothing is copied from another list. Every award praises something a camper or a counselor does or chooses; none is about looks, body, age, money, beliefs, health or family, and none works as a put-down. No brand, show, song or real person is named, and no title repeats one on another award list on this site. Licence: own work
