How the winter rounds work
A row of emoji sits above four choices, and one tap answers it. The card then shows the right answer with a line on the pictures. Ten rows make a set. From the score card, More options opens the Round menu: snow and ice, clothes, sports or indoors.
Print it for a snow day
Print question sheet appears on the score card after the first set. It puts 20 rows on paper with choices A to D. Print answer key is under More options.
Tips
The hard rows are sound-alikes. Read them aloud: an ear and a muffin, ice and a bicycle.
Questions and answers
Is the winter emoji quiz only about snow?
No. One round is snow and ice, one is winter clothes, one is winter sports and games, and one is warm things indoors, such as a rocket and a flame for space heater.
Does the winter emoji quiz have answers?
Yes. A tap shows the right answer and the reason. The full list of 60 rows with answers is lower on this page, and the answer key prints on its own sheet for whoever is marking.
How hard are the puzzles?
Each round has five easy rows, six medium and four hard. Easy rows show the answer almost outright, such as snow and a castle for snow fort. Hard rows turn on a sound, such as snow and a bank.
Can a class or a club play it together?
Yes. Print a sheet for each pair, or show the page on a big screen and take a show of hands for A, B, C or D. Scores for more than one player go on paper.

How this list was compiled: Own work. The Game Night Generator editors wrote 60 picture puzzles on 3 October 2026, 15 in each of four rounds: snow and ice, winter clothes, winter sports and games, and warm things indoors. Every answer is one everyday thing or activity of the season; none is about Christmas or any other holiday, and none is a brand, a film, a show, a song or a person. No answer and no row repeats one in the site's emoji quiz (which holds Snowman, Snowball, Iceberg, Snow day and Wind chill), its emoji charades list, its shower emoji games, its carol game or its Christmas emoji quiz. The explanations say only how the pictures spell the answer; no facts are stated. Every emoji is a fully-qualified emoji of Emoji 12.0, checked against the Unicode Consortium's list of January 2019 (https://unicode.org/Public/emoji/12.0/emoji-test.txt), read on 3 October 2026.
