How it works
These movie bingo cards hold plot beats and screen habits of five kinds of film: action, scary, science fiction, animated and comedy. No film is named, and nobody calls: the film does.

Match the cards to tonight's film
The first cards are for an action movie. For another kind, open More options and pick it in Ready-made list: Scary movies, Science fiction, Animated family films or Comedies. Then set How many cards and press the print button.
Play it as a movie bingo game
Press play. Each viewer marks a square when its beat happens on screen and says it aloud, so the sofa can object. Five in a line wins, and the center is free. If the credits roll first, the most squares marked wins.
Tips
- For a double bill of two kinds, pick the last entry in Ready-made list, all the squares: a square from either film counts.
- A list is longer than a card, so the cards differ in which squares they hold, not only in their order.
Questions and answers
Which movies do the cards fit?
They are written for five kinds of film, not for one title. Each square is a habit of its genre, such as Helicopter arrives on cue or A storybook opens the film. No title, studio, actor or character is named.
How scary are the scary movie squares?
They are spooky, not gory: Lights flicker, Thunder right on cue, A cat explains the noise. No list holds a square that is gory, cruel or romantic. For a gentler night, pick Animated family films.
Is there a card for Christmas films?
Yes, on its own page. Christmas movie bingo holds the beats of made-for-TV holiday films and shares no square with these five lists.
Can I add squares for one particular film?
Yes. Under More options, type or paste your own squares into Word list, one per line, such as a catchphrase you expect to hear. Your list takes the place of ours, and Undo brings ours back.
