Bingo Card Generator for Numbers 1 to 75 or Your Own Words: how it works

Press New set of 4 cards and four 5 × 5 cards fill with numbers from 1 to 75, each with a free square in the middle and no two alike. Raise How many cards as far as 60, print them one, two or four to a page, then tap Call the game to draw every number once. Your own words work too.

Make, print and call from one phone

Under Make it yours, pick 3 × 3, 4 × 4 or 5 × 5 under Grid, name the game in Title on the cards, and set How many cards from 1 to 60. Print 4 cards prints the whole set. Then tap Call the game and press Call the next one: each number comes up once, and Called so far keeps the list for checking a winner.

The usual rules, and where halls differ

A standard American card is a 5 × 5 grid headed B, I, N, G, O: 1 to 15 sit under B, 16 to 30 under I, and so on up to 75, with a free middle square that counts as marked. The cards here deal the same 75 numbers to any square, so call the number without the letter. A straight line in any direction is the usual win; four corners, the postage stamp (a 2 × 2 block in the top right corner) and blackout, every square covered, are common too. Rules vary, so name the pattern before the first call.

The list of 75 and what the phone remembers

All 75 numbers are printed lower on the page in groups of ten, each with its column letter on a standard card and, for 68 of them, a British hall call such as "Two little ducks" for 22. Marks are saved as you tap, a game in progress survives a reload, and Bring back my last cards returns your last set. What you type stays on the phone; only Share these cards puts your own list into a link. Back to the 1 to 75 list undoes every edit.

Tips

• Print bingo sheets two to a page for most rooms, one to a page for young kids or anyone who wants big numbers, and four for a crowd.
• For printable bingo cards 1-90, type 76 to 90 on fifteen new lines of the word list. The British ticket of three rows by nine columns is not drawn here.
• To use the page as a custom bingo card generator, press Empty the list and paste your own words, one per line: 30 or more, so 5 × 5 cards differ in words too.
• Keep squares short: a single word of 11 letters or more can break across two lines on a 5 × 5 card on a phone.
• For a game across several houses, send the Share these cards link: everyone who opens it gets the same set, so give each player a card number.
