How it works

In the apron game, the bride walks through the shower wearing an apron with kitchen things pinned all over it, then leaves, and guests write down every item they remember. This page prints the guest sheet and the host's list.

Set up the bridal shower apron game

The three Host's list sheets name kitchen things light enough to pin on. Pin about twenty with safety pins or ribbon and tick each one: the ticked lists are the answer key.

Bridal shower apron game template free to print

Choose 10, 15 or 20 lines in the Sheet list and press Print blank sheet, one copy a guest. Nobody writes until the bride has left the room. One point an item, and a wrong guess costs nothing.

The twist

The twist: what was she wearing asks about the bride and not the apron: her shoes, her earrings, the apron's color.

Tips
  • Everything on the apron goes home with the bride as a kitchen gift, so pin things she can use.

Questions and answers

How do you play the apron game at a shower?

The bride walks slowly around the room in the loaded apron while guests look, then steps out. Guests list what they saw from memory. The host reads the ticked list, and the longest right list wins.

Is the apron bridal shower game printable free?

Yes. Every sheet here prints free with one press: the numbered guest sheet with its rules, the twist sheet and the host's lists. For a file, choose Save as PDF in the print window.

What do you pin on the apron?

Small, light kitchen things: a whisk, measuring spoons, a pastry brush, a cookie cutter, a tea bag, a recipe card. The host's lists name more. Nothing sharp, heavy or breakable goes on.

How do you break a tie?

The tied guests take turns naming one more item from the apron aloud. The first to miss or repeat is out. The game has no official rules, so this is our suggestion.

How to play, score and break a tie 11

  • A wrong item costs nothing Guess freely. Only items ticked on the host's list score.

How this list was compiled: Written by the Game Night Generator editors on 2026-10-03. The apron game is a folk shower game with no governing body and no standard sheet, so the seven layouts, the sizes (10, 15 or 20 lines) and the scoring are the editors' own, and the page says so. The 30 kitchen things on the host's lists are the editors' suggestions of small, light items: 10 utensils, 10 small kitchen things and 10 from the pantry and the paper drawer. No brand is named and no fact is stated. The twist sheet asks only about what the bride is wearing (shoes, earrings, the apron's color), never about her body or her age. Licence: own work
