Bingo Game in Spanish: 6 Word Sets and the Numbers 1 to 75: how it works
This bingo game in Spanish is word and number bingo, not Lotería, the Mexican picture game, which has its own deck. The list holds 144 everyday nouns and colors in six sets, then the numbers uno to setenta y cinco.
Cut the list to one unit
Dealt whole, the list is a mixed review game. For one unit, open Word list, one per line and keep only that set's 24 lines: colors and shapes run rojo to el cubo, animals el perro to el lobo, food el pan to la galleta, family la madre to los gemelos, clothes la camisa to el botón, classroom el libro to el calendario. Then switch Grid to 4 × 4, so each card holds 16 of the 24.
A Spanish bingo game with numbers
Keep only the last 75 lines, uno to setenta y cinco. The cards print the number words, Call the game draws them one at a time, and the list under the cards pairs each word with its numeral.
Tips
Hand one Spanish bingo card to each pair, so partners have to say the word aloud to agree on the square.
The winner reads the line back in Spanish, and the class gives the English for each word before the win counts.
Teaching Spain's Spanish? Swap la papa, el jugo and la computadora for la patata, el zumo and el ordenador in the word list.
Questions and answers
Is this the same game as Lotería?
No. Lotería is a traditional Mexican game of chance, similar to bingo, played with pictures on a deck of cards. This page deals word and number cards only, and uses none of that game's pictures or verses.
Can the cards show numerals while the caller speaks Spanish?
Yes, with two pages. The bingo card generator deals cards of 1 to 75, in any square and without B to O columns. Here, cut the list to the 75 number lines, deal once, then open Call the game and read each word out.
Why do the nouns on these Spanish bingo cards carry el or la?
The article is how a learner meets a noun's gender. It also flags the odd ones: el agua is feminine and takes el before its stressed a, and el mapa is masculine despite its ending. Colors are adjectives, so they stand alone.

How this list was compiled: Own work by the editors, written for this site on 2026-09-19: 219 Spanish words to call, in seven blocks (six vocabulary sets of 24: colors and shapes, animals, food and drink, family, clothes, the classroom; then the 75 number words from uno to setenta y cinco). The line beside each word is its English meaning or its numeral, for the person who calls and checks. The plan for this page named the Real Academia Española dictionary as the check; dle.rae.es refuses automated requests, so every word was checked instead against its English Wiktionary entry on 2026-09-19, read through the Wiktionary API: spelling and written accent, the gender shown by el or la (from the entry's headword line), and the English meaning. Examples: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/veintitrés, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dieciséis, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/treinta_y_uno, https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/agua (feminine, takes el before a stressed a), https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/mapa (masculine), https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/pez and https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/pescado. All 75 number words have their own entries and each entry gives the matching English number. Regional notes (papa and patata, jugo and zumo, computadora and ordenador, gafas, lentes and anteojos, anaranjado and naranja, rosado and rosa, marrón and café) follow the region labels on those entries. Nouns carry el, la, los or las because the article is how a learner meets the gender; colors are adjectives and carry none. No picture, card art or verse from Lotería, the Mexican picture game, is used or described: this is word and number bingo. The win rule on the page (a row, column or diagonal, the free center counted as filled, four corners as a quicker game) was checked against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bingo_(American_version) on 2026-09-19.
