How it works

This pirate bingo printable deals from three lists: the ship from bow to stern, the crew and their gear, and the island on the treasure map. A grown-up calls, and the first player with five in a line shouts bingo.

All hands on deck

Set How many cards to the size of the crew and press the print button; these pirate bingo cards are all different. Press Call the game, then Call the next one, and read each square aloud. The center square is free.

A shorter voyage

For the youngest crew, a grown-up opens More options and switches Grid to 3 × 3. Ready-made list, in the same place, deals one list at a time: The island and the treasure map goes with a treasure hunt. One list fills the card, so the cards then share nearly all their squares.

Tips
  • Bow is the front of a ship and Stern the back; point as you call them.
  • Have the crew answer every call with Aye aye before anyone marks.

How this list was compiled: Written for this site by the editors on 2026-10-02 as a storybook pirate list in three parts; these are our suggestions, and nothing was copied from another bingo card. Each list holds 25 squares, enough to fill a 5 x 5 card with a free center by itself. The ship words (bow, stern, port, starboard, keel, bowsprit, quarterdeck, rigging, galley and the rest) were checked on 2026-10-02 against the English Wikipedia's Glossary of nautical terms, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_nautical_terms_(A–L) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_nautical_terms_(M–Z) : the bow is the front of a vessel, the stern the back, port the left side facing forward and starboard the right. Jolly Roger, the traditional name of the pirate flag, was read at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piracy . The crew's gear and the island squares are storybook pirate things in our own wording and state no fact of history. There is no weapon, no battle and no drink on the card, and no film, ride, game or named pirate. The ways to win named on the page (a row, a column or a diagonal; the center square of a 5 x 5 card is free) were checked against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bingo_(American_version) on 2026-10-02.
