Call the remembrance list with its clues

Under More options, pick Remembrance in Ready-made list, set How many cards and print. Press Call the game: each call shows a line to read aloud, such as when the flag goes back up. Five in a line win, and the center square is free. One list fills the card, so the cards hold nearly the same squares in a different order.

A Memorial Day bingo printable for the picnic table

Leave the list on all 75 squares and no two cards match. Call it between the parade and the grill, or pick First cookout of summer and let players mark what they spot, from Grill cover comes off to Bean bag toss.

  • Stop the game at 3 p.m.: the National Moment of Remembrance is a one-minute pause at that hour, local time.
  • Before noon, Flag at half-staff is the square on the flagpole. After noon it is Flag raised at noon.

Questions and answers

What is on the Memorial Day bingo cards?

Three lists of 25: remembrance squares such as Flag at half-staff, Red poppy and Taps; long-weekend squares such as Pool opens and Fireflies; and cookout squares such as Burger flip and Blueberry pie.

When is Memorial Day?

The last Monday of May. The first national observance was on May 30, 1868, when it was known as Decoration Day, and in 1968 Congress changed the observance to a Monday. Last Monday of May, May 30 and Decoration Day are all squares.

What is the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day?

Memorial Day mourns the U.S. military personnel who died while serving. Veterans Day, on November 11, honors all who have served. That is why the first list on this card is called Remembrance.

Where do the Memorial Day facts come from?

Each was checked on October 8, 2026 against the English Wikipedia's articles on Memorial Day, the National Moment of Remembrance and the remembrance poppy. The other clues only describe the square.

How this list was compiled: Our own list, written for this page on 2026-10-08 in three parts of 25 squares; these are our suggestions, and nothing was copied from another bingo card. No war and no death is a square, and no brand is named. The lines beside the squares are clues for the caller. Those that state a fact were each checked on 2026-10-08 on the English Wikipedia: Memorial Day, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memorial_Day (observed on the last Monday of May; first national observance on May 30, 1868, then known as Decoration Day; moved to a Monday by Congress in 1968 to make a three-day weekend; the flag at half-staff until noon, then full-staff; Taps played on the bugle at ceremonies; the poppy adopted by the American Legion in 1920; Waterloo, New York, proclaimed the birthplace in 1966; the unofficial beginning of summer); National Moment of Remembrance, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Moment_of_Remembrance (a one-minute pause at 3 p.m. local time); Remembrance poppy, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembrance_poppy (the first nationwide Poppy Day in the United States before Memorial Day in 1921, and the first nationwide distribution by a veterans' group in 1922). The other clues describe the square and state no outside fact; the long weekend and cookout squares carry no clue. The ways to win named on the page (a row, a column or a diagonal; the center square of a 5 x 5 card is free) were checked against https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bingo_(American_version) on 2026-10-08.
